Locomotive 35, a Baldwin-Westinghouse steeple cab, was used by SDER to haul freight cars recieved from interchange at Wright and Witherby Sts. off Hancock St. from Santa Fe RR.<br /><br /> Loads were hauled to various lumber yards and cement plants on the La Jolla line and off 30th St north of University Ave. where there was a Dixie Lumber Co. yard. This business slowed during the 30s and the loco was eventually sold to the Bamberger Electric Railway in Utah.
